Residential Energy Field Auditor

Description: Conducts home energy audits in residential homes that consist of visually checking HVAC equipment,
lighting, ducts, windows and weather-stripping, and identifies areas of improvement and makes recommendations to
homeowner

Salary: $12 - $14 / hr

Minimum Educational Requirements: Associate·s Degree in Building Materials, Environmental Science, Environmental Studies,
Energy Management

Recommended College Coursework: Environmental Studies, Energy Management, Auditing

Certification: HERS Certification

Desired Education: Bachelor·s Degree preferred

Experience Needed: Entry to Mid-Level

Growth Potential: Very large potential for growth due to increased construction of energy efficient housing
