Certified Carbon Manager. The Association of Energy Engineers (CRM) program was developed to recognize the expertise of those professionals who have special knowledge and experience in the area of facilitating organization with the goal of becoming as “carbon neutral” as possible in their efforts to support and be a part of the new and growing “green-minded” economy.

To raise the professional standards of those engaged in carbon reduction
To improve the practice of carbon reduction by encouraging energy business professionals in a continuing education program of professional development
To identify persons with acceptable knowledge of the principles practices of carbon reduction professionals through completing an examination and fulfilling prescribed standards of performance and conduct
To award special recognition to those individuals who have demonstrated a high level of competence and ethical fitness for carbon reduction
